My husband and I went to Cortona's with a group of friends on a Friday night. We were seated in the back room, which was low lit and had a great ambiance. Not only was the bruschetta appetizer amazing, but the gnocci dish I had melted in my mouth. I finished the meal with the limoncello dessert--out of this world. To top off our amazing meal, we also had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the owner/chef! He was so nice and welcoming, and told us all about his journey starting this restaurant after moving to the states from Italy. Very down to earth and funny! I cannot WAIT to come back.

Cute restaurant in a small downtown just a bit out of Indianapolis. We loved the private table in the bar area. Pasta dish in the cheese wheel was delicious!! Restaurant staff were very friendly!

Absolutely delicious food, cocktails, impeccable service, and wonderful atmosphere! My husband and I went here this evening and started with the Barata salad and the muscles/clams appetizer. We got some bread to soak up the delicious wine broth that comes with the muscles and clams. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The prosciutto with the salad was spot on and not over salty. For dinner, we had the Portabella mushroom ravioli, and gnocchi Primavera. I personally enjoy having a little bit of sauce with my pasta dishes, so I had a side of sauce add it on for the gnocchi. Each dish was delicious as made, but the sauce certainly enhance the flavoring with the smokiness from the prosciutto. We then ended the evening with two desserts, one being the mascarpone lemon cake and the other was the cannoli cake. I've never had a cannoli taste as good as this cake did. We were then very much intrigued by the cheese wheel dish [not on menu]. So, we ended up having to get that as a take-home for our children (or us).
